The Quiet of Freedom

Today, there are not bombs dropping on our rooftops, there are not beheadings in our streets, will not cower as we hear a pounding at our door, or the screaming of a neighbor being dragged off into torture and life in prison.

What is quiet, is often overlooked.

Freedom is quiet.

Today, I will be thankful for my freedom and the peaceful quiet that represents it.

And I will fill a quiet moment with prayers for our military.
