Praying Without Words

So many days, I am a hot mess.

And weak.

And tired.

And broken.

And hurt.

And the only way to set those days right, is to let God set those days right.

But do I, the weakling mess, approach the throne of God and request peace or help or healing or for Him to fight for me?

How do I find perfect prayer words?

Or even broken prayers words? When, sometimes, I can’t find words at all?

I don’t need to.

He still hears me.

Hears my heart; hears my soul.

I can crumble in silence and still He whispers “I know. I’m here. I heard you cry for Me. I’ve got you.”

The biggest reason I have unwavering faith in a living, loving, present God? That.

All of that.
